I want the breh to be great but according to Fangraphs he was our worst offensive player last year :dame:

He needs to show tremendous growth growth to stay at the major league level.

Signing Bruce, trying to trade for Cutch, looking into Duda, signing agone, not only do I think they have no confidence in Dom but I think they got bad news on conforto

Agreed. They said six months but dude literally swung his shoulder out of his socket. My first though was when I saw it was he's done for 2018 as well. Plus what does that say about Conforto long term with him getting injured the way he did.

Going into the offseason, I was thinking we'd be in the hunt for a wild card. Now I'm feeling really pessimistic.

These moves are just to tread as much water as we can until our MVP candidate all star player comes bacck. Yo staying healthy would be massive.

When they said they were looking to cut payroll I essentially gave up on 2018. They use the Mets to fund their other ventures. They're involved in the Islanders to Belmont Park, so it's clear they have the money to spend.
