Going into the offseason, I was thinking we'd be in the hunt for a wild card. Now I'm feeling really pessimistic.

Curious as to what made you feel that way?

These moves are just to tread as much water as we can until our MVP candidate all star player comes bacck. Yo staying healthy would be massive.

The Wilpons whole tenure as owners can be summed up as ‘tread water, while cashing in the checks the fans bring in’

When they said they were looking to cut payroll I essentially gave up on 2018. They use the Mets to fund their other ventures. They're involved in the Islanders to Belmont Park, so it's clear they have the money to spend.

I know all too well.

Curious as to what made you feel that way?

I believe in the starting pitching depth and the back end of the bullpen. Expecting a huge bounce back season from Thor. Also think the NL is gonna be super top heavy.

The football Giants are the only team I root for that I got to see win it all, I regret not going to the 2012 parade, 07 I was underage and I didn't want to get picked up by truancy

All hell will break loose at the season ticket holder town hall. There's no excuse for this. Nimmo is not an everyday player. This was the Wilponzi's not wanting to pay the $15M. How you tell fans you intend on contending when you have one of the elite outfielders in your grasp for nothing.
