He clearly didn't do that though...
He was peppering the jab, not sticking it and setting up power punches behind it...
The reason for that was Nelo was countering any punch that wasn't straight (Roy called this out around round 4) with a hard left hook to the body...
You could clearly see G hunching over and lowering his guard to protect his mid section around round 4-5...That is what you call clean and effective punching...

Abel Sanchez gave good corner advice..you cant duck that. I know everyone is mad about what he said about entertaining black fighters..that was str8 up bull$hit but he told GGG the truth in the corner everytime.
Anyone who says that GGG was controlling the fight with his jab while simultaneously getting backed up the whole fight is lying to themselves. If he was keeping him honest with the jab, Canelo wouldn't have been able to keep moving forward like he did.
SAS trying to changed Wards mind cause he pretty much said canelo controlled and dominated the fight.. I hate having SAS in boxing coverage

regardless of who u think won the fight, triple g was exposed as a one dimensional fighter. he couldnt walk canelo down which is embarassing in itself, but he also had no back up plan other den to throw jabs in the middle of the ring.
you cant expect refs to judge jabs the same way they judged thunderous body shots and combination punching.
i will give him credit for his defense because it is underrated, but canelo made adjustments and he didnt.

Breh, even if you think Canelo won the fight it's kind of stupid to sit here acting like he handed GGG an asswhooping. The fight was a war and as close as it could possibly be without being a draw. I'm honestly flabbergasted by some of you "fans". Canelo barely squeaks by in two fights where a lot of people thought GGG won and somehow he's over here handing out asswhoopings in your mind. Where?they did this to themselvescrying about Canelo's movement and they get a post knee surgery Canelo using only his upper body movement really n coming forward( backing them up all night) this made it look even worse on them.
Canelo fought a great fight those body shots had ggg breathing from his mouth by the 3rd round so you know some of the mustard was off his punches. Halfway through the fight the terminator, this huuuuuge puncher, the killer was happy to land a jab or arm punchesnikka was looking like a prime Malinaggi out there.
