I’m a casual and having no real dog in this.....how in the fukk did Canelo win that fight? Like, it didn’t make any sense to me. GGGhit that dude like 10,000 times clean in the face, then fed him power punches for the last 5 rounds.

Canelo ate that sheit but he also got wobbled several times late and looked like he was a hit away from getting knocked out for the last 3.....and he won?????

Canelo should've just boxed him again, it would've been easier but he wanted to KO him, and he wouldve if he didn't run out of gas

Canelo controlled the first fight, he wanted to fight of the ropes and counter, he controlled this fight keeping it in the center slipping and countering

all GGG could do was land jabs in both fights, you can't win a fight like that

How can you dominate a fight when you're backing up the entire time and not destroying the person coming forward with counters? Canelo didn't dominate shyt in the first fight

i think the decision was cool
and i had money on triple g to win by decision

canelo stayed in the middle of the ring for every round except the 11th. the last fight he only did that for the first 3 rounds
triple g looked confused and couldnt even walk canelo down. thats pathetic

thats why floyd said triple g is a "straight up and down fighter, no special effects"

when a fighter main game plan is to walk forward all the time and you fighting a smart fighter who can disrupt that (aka mosley vs margarito) you are kinda scrwed. floyd or even someone like bernard hopkins woulda beat triple g just off adjustments alone. triple g had no other game plan other then waitin for canelo to get tired.

only reason i picked triple g would win is because i thought canelo would get tired earlier den he did. he didnt really get tired until the 9th. canelo is the better boxer.

I thought GGG was going to be a lot more dominant than he showed and is why I put my money on him. My card was 115-113 Canelo. Commentary off because everyone who watches these big fights on hbo know the like to set storylines throughout the whole fight.

A lot of it is casuals also have no idea how to judge and evaluate body work, they probably scoring those early rounds for GGG cuz of his jab when Canelo had him sucking in air on those body shots. That shyt count more than those jabs, and no way were all those shyts landing based on those inflated compubox numbers, Canelo was catching and deflecting alot of those

Abel was genuinely concerned. GGG was doing nothing but trying to jab like he was Lennox Lewis. Canelo dominated the pace and BULLIED the bigger fighter. Landed cleaner power shots and retaliated on every big GGG shot minus a few. Jabs don’t win you big fights especially when everyone expects to see a big bad monster in the ring.
