Please note that GGG fans claim Canelo lost the first fight because he was backing up...

But are now saying GGG won this fight when all he did was back up 3/4ths of the fight

Once again, jabs, compubox and Jim Lampley don't decide fights...

Ring generalship counts as does clean and effective punching...

The only punch GGG was able to land in rounds 1-9 was the jab...

Canelo completely controlled the action in the center of the ring and landed the harder cleaner punches throughout the fight...

That only change in rounds 10 and 11 when Canelo gassed...

again, if you guys want to just throw every hall of fame defensive fighter in the bushes to validate canelo's win - sure. okay.

i'm not saying that canelo is trash by any standard. this was a great fight. but when you start wholesale dismissing a 100+ jab discrepancy, the fact that the only guy to be on the ropes was canelo, and that ggg did in fact give him the brawl he wanted AND beat him at it - then like.... what we really propping up?
