Dude is a pretty good ball player. He's not one of those projects. His jump shot already looks good and he has some post moves. If he gets confidence in his midrange and can be consistent with it then
Did you watch bam at KY? He doesn't have a lot of post moves. He's a bully ball player who has shown a passable hook against similar sized and smaller players.
He is ABSOLUTELY a project. Have you seen him handle, pass, or do anything like that?
He's not even a bad player at all. Sets great screens, likes to dunk and bully everything, great at offensive rebounds, etc.
But his shooting form is still pretty slow and even average athletes closing out at him makes his shot suffer. He is NOT polished on the block. He suffers a lot against length because of the lack of polish. It shows even on his midrange and faceup game which is why it's easy to play off of him.,
He's not a great decision maker either which you can see when he gets the Ball on the high post.
Bam isn't a bad pick or bad player. I'd love this pick if we trade down and snatched it in the 20s or so with another piece or two.
