You get backup centers in the 2nd round. Reed should not be a reason.

Tell me you're trading Whiteside and I can see the vision

This draft didn't matter, the minute they went on that win streak. If someone drafted much later out performs Bam so be it, most of the dudes in our range likely won't amount to much. On the bright side, we'll likely have our pick in the Zion Williamson/Marvin Bagley draft(2019). :manny:

Dude made like 3 mid range jumper in that whole video package seem like he has all bit of a post game
But unless dude stretches his range I can't see him and Gawdside playing together at first
I think I read that he only took like 12 jumpers all year at Kentucky. But from his pro day video his shot didn't look too bad. At first I was thinking we just got another Joel Anthony but I feel a little better about it now.

Although still don't really like using a lottery pick on a backup center

I watched Bam play. He has decent mechanics on his shot but his Ball-handling, decision making, and passing are all :picard:

He plays like a finishing 5. Think Tristan Thompson, Biyombo, or the like.

He's not a bad player at all. But if I told you that you drafted TT in the lottery, you'd be like :stopitslime:

Maybe that 3 will develop in actual game :francis:

I've seen Birdman knock down multiple threes In warm ups so it don't mean much to me now but trust in Riles :yeshrug:

Because they won't be playing together. Gotta have a bench

If you wanted a good player with the pick then we should have tanked. Simple. The moment the win streak happened, the chances of a great pick went down the toilet.

We're you guys expecting to draft a stud at 14? :what:

Almost all the time, players outside the top 10 are trash. There are exceptions here and there but the Heat have never been that lucky. We usually find our diamonds in the rough outside of the draft(Haslem, Whiteside, TJ)

He finishes everything above the rim. Good hands. :leon: at the 5 minute mark

Dont know how this will translate to the NBA but breh got that grown man bully ball. Hope that midrange is sharp because i doubt he will be going off like this all the time in the league but he got good fast footwork. Spo bout to put in work

Dude is a pretty good ball player. He's not one of those projects. His jump shot already looks good and he has some post moves. If he gets confidence in his midrange and can be consistent with it then

I don't even think Bam is trash. I just wanted someone that's more versatile. I wasn't aware that he's trying to expand his range. I'm glad that he's trying to prove that he can shoot.
