also when we hit up the brazillian steakhouse, we ALWAYS make sure NOT to eat the lesser meats. typically all we eat is the ribeye, filet mignon, and bacon wrapped filet mignon, and shrimp. THe other meats are ehhh, but they try to fill u up with the inferior stuff, like top sirloin, lamb (not a big fan of it), garlic steak and skimp on the good shyt. they also got fresh sushi at the salad bar which is :noah: status as well. I do enjoy the grilled sausage they make (pause) and roasted pinapple. and sometimes I fukk with the chicken. don't fukk the the beef ribs too much.

A good steak doesn't need a1 breh:dream:

TBF he didn't say it was NEEDED. :whoo:

But just like other foods, when cooked right they don't need those condiments. They're just bonuses for some people.

Like grilled chicken doesn't need bbq sauce but if you throw some of this on it

OH ME OH MY!!!! :lupe:

Anthony Bourdain in his book writes that when you order a well-done steak in a restaurant, you're basically getting the poorest quality of that cut of meat they have in the kitchen. Logic being, is that customers won't know the difference in the quality of the meat because it's cooked to oblivion.

So you when you order a well done steak, you're buying a piece of shyt meat they've been waiting to serve to some sucka:pachaha:

Yeah but the chef spit in your steak too :krs:

Don't order Well Done ever. I've worked at a few fine dining restaurants and nothing pisses the Chefs off more then a person ordering a Prime Rib Eye or Fillet and asking for it well done. When I cook I try to make it the best possible because it's my name going on it, but don't order a Well Done steak expecting to get something good in return. Most chefs don't give a fukk and will toss your meat around and no love will go into the cooking of that steak. You won't get that good sear or grill marks that make your steak look delicious.

Also for those of you scared of ecoli don't be. EColi lives on the outside of the beef, so when you sear it on the grill or pan it kills any ecoli that meat may have. The real scare is in Ground Beef because the ecoli gets mixed in with the beef and isn't just on the outside, but even then it's probably not going to happen with all the testing that is done at beef plants ensure you're not getting contaminated meat.

@theifypoo you said it first. a good steak dont need no damn a1

any amount of sauce more than a teaspoon is a disgrace to the chef, the meat and the animal it came from. children are stupid. its one thing when they drown their food in condiments. but its one thing that a lot of children never grow out of. thus you have adults slathering food with sauces and condiments that overpower the actual flavor of whatever they are eating.

I got well done steaks because of my parents. I ate what they cooked me and thats how they liked them. Once I got older and started going out to restaurants...I now prefer medium.

I'm just not a big fan of rare or raw meats when they all pink in shyt. I usually like mines medium done where most of its brown but its still moist. Only time I do medium rare is with filet mignon...

And now ya'll eating steaks with no kind of sauce :dahell:

I mean you can eat a good steak with no sauce just like you can eat a good hamburger with no mustard or anything on it but that doesn't make it any better. I'm not down with drowning a steak with sauce but just a lil on the side is never a bad thing.

*awaits the posters who claim that their fathers make the best extra juicy well done steaks, the poster who mistake myoglobin for blood, and all the false bacteria claims about rare steaks*

I make the juiciest well done steak. Just pop it in the broiler and when my load of laundry is done :blessed: smother that hoe in some ketchup and :eat:
