All you only well done dudes. Next time you go get a steak. Tell them to cut it in half a make one side well done and one side medium. Then tell us which piece was more enjoyable and what piece you had to drown in steak sauce.

You can always get the medium piece cooked more if you don't like it but i guarantee it will be better than the shoe leather you drowned in steak sauce.

A friend of mine in the restaurant business told me once that they keep a couple steaks in a warming drawer for up to 3 hours waiting for some dumb schmuck to order a well-done steak.

What's fukked is, from working in restaurants, that most of the customers who order well done steaks are African Americans:sadcam:

Rare at a good steak place.

Medium Rare-Medium at like Applebees or something.

I just don't get steak at places that are not known for steaks:manny:

most black women want their steak well done. nikkas raised by said women also want their steak well done.

I feel you but they gotta cook the same USDA cuts to a certain temp like everyone else.

I just leave nothing to chance but a steak will usually be one of the most cared for things on the menu.

You'd be surprised how these places just throw chicken around :scusthov:

But part of the reason probably is because people don't like luke warm food. I like my steak hot in the middle. Warm meat doesn't cut it for me :allhomo:

But a nice herb or cajun butter, bleu cheese, or even sauteed peppers and onions on top :noah:

Plus you have people that season the shyt out of a steak throwing everything in the cabinet on it.

this is the reason I don't care about trying a lesser cooked steak. cuz if its too raw, just send it back for more cooking. but if its already cooked into leather, you can't reverse the damage.

hate to be the bearer of bad news but :krs: there hasn't been any blood in that cow for more than a month before it even touches your plate.

Made the juiciest bone-in ribeye last night, medium:ohlawd:

I switched to the constant flip method. I was out of oil, except for olive oil. I used that, but it burn fast as hell.

But man, was that steak just as juicy and tender:ahh:
No steak sauce needed either.
