1. Schools were SHUT DOWN. Kindergarten through University. And even now, many schools are not fully in person.

2. A large portion of the workforce is now working from home.

3. For months people were sanitizing like their lives depended on it.

In general, good hygiene is very effective against contracting the flu. Y’all can’t be this dense.

I said this last year. How convenient, watch the flu season disappear all of a sudden while covid is here.
Of course people will say it’s because of the masks but if that were the case then covid wouldn’t be around either.
Also every symptom was automatically put down as covid even without testing. So it didn’t disappear at all. The narrative was to cause mass hysteria over covid.

All I know is I haven’t gotten sick one time in the last year. I almost never get the flu but I’ll always come down with a minor cough, runny nose sore throat etc and it hasn’t happened once.

Same here. I usually get a pretty bad cold/flu at least once during flu season. Not this past year though

Your comment implied that masks were the biggest factor in all this... and they’re not. There are several other things that probably had a larger impact. With that said, flu didn’t go completely away. And yes, when you drastically reduce human contact, especially amongst children... there is going to be a stark difference in flu cases.
