After trout beat cotto he lost to canelo and lara while being dropped in both fights, i guess i could argue he was damaged too which led to him being dropped by fnf fighters later

They had their 1st Championship match with Thomas Hearns vs James Kinchen in November 1988. I would think with Hearns, Camacho, Jackson, Benn, and Moorer THAT it would be "legit" in the 90s, being that they all won their belts in 88-89
