You're right. He'd have to take an L either way. Either go back to floyd's undercard or not fight on cinco de mayo after proclaiming you want the date. It's just a matter of which is a bigger deal to him.
I'd love to see jr on the card even if canelo is on there.

As of December 1975...the WBC was only recognized by 21 out of 195 countries in the world. Any Champions around that time period do not count since they weren't "world wide" yet.

Because he's the A side and forced Pac and his whole team to publicly fall back from their lies. They're in the palms of his hands now, they lost their main advantage of tricking the people into believing Floyd was scared to sign a contract for years.

If the fight is made, the announcement will come from Mayweather. Mayweather has used social media, including Twitter and Shots, to announce his last several fights.

Koncz said Mayweather wants to make the announcement and that he and Pacquiao agreed.
I just think he wants the thunder.

I suppose he will announce it on twitter?

I learned that today...The Master Teacher Clause aka TMT Clause means that if you weren't recognized all around the world, it doesn't count pretty much. As of 12/1975, the WBC was only recognized by 21 out of 195 countries. Any WBC Champions around that time period do not count:banderas:

the WBA wasn't official until 1962 even though its been around since the 1920's
the WBC came in 1963
