Now that the season is complete I don’t mind the Sirianni hire, but with all the flores stuff I do wonder what really happened why Duce didn’t get the gig

Coordinators typically are hired before position coaches

Duce would've needed an elite OC imo to compliment him since he's never called plays or installed an offense

I don't care about a stacked offense, that should be every teams goal no matter who is at QB. All four teams that played last weekend have stacked offenses whether through talent (Bengals) or a combination of that and coaching (Chiefs, Rams, 49ers). We're a reliable #2 WR away from having one ourselves between Smith & Goedert continuing to improve, Quez continuing to develop as a #3 who can fly and our great Stoutland lines.

If Wilson or Watson aren't acquired and Jalen's starting week 1 of 2022 he and the passing game have to take a big step forward. He's either gonna tap into a consistency and be the player he was vs Denver and WFT more often or the team is gonna be shopping for a new one in 2023.

We didn't beat one playoff team this season & each game the prob was that we couldn't pass

We play a 2nd place sched next yr & I want more consistency in the intermediate & deep passing game. What good are horses if they can't run in the open field?

I believe if you put Burrow or Herbert in Jalen's place, we'd be SB contenders next season

Siri was the right hire

We need a talent infusion with this draft tho

That's why I'm all in on Russ if he's made available

Best OL he's ever had, strong rushing attack as a result of it, DeVonta and Dallas just waiting to be fed, Quez running free downfield catching those classic Wilson rainbow deep balls :whew: Add a veteran #2 WR, add a starting safety, devote whatever picks we have left to the defense and Mr. Ciara is gonna fukk around and run the NFC :wow:

Jury still out on sirianni
Beat a team with a winning record

I liked the way he gameplans and schemes guys open

Our problem was that we needed balance to beat good teams and if we couldn't run, our QB was unable to consistently beat good teams over the top

This is the first time in a few seasons where we actually had guys getting open deep, but passes were errant or not even attempted

For most of the season, we barely attempted passes to the left side of the field

Any top 10 QB has our offense humming...I say all that to say, I really like Siri as a coach

I don't wanna give up multiple firsts for a 33 y.o. QB

If we only had to give up one first, I'd be all for it bc we would go crazy with a top flight QB

Drake is very good though, for a big man he runs good routes...my issue is he is no YAC but he seperates vs man coverage
Drake's actually very good at getting YAC. From his draft profile on The Ringer:

London can line up on the outside and in the slot, shows good quickness to get off press, and is a quality route runner who can threaten at every level of the field. He’s a smooth athlete with fluid movement skills and is capable of sinking his hips to change direction without throttling down. In fact, USC utilized London on plenty of screens and sweeps, and he forced 22 missed tackles in 2021, per PFF.

If the Eagles do look into drafting another wide receiver in the 1st, then Drake London could be the perfect compliment to Devonta Smith. He's a bigger, physical wide receiver who can make the contested catches but - unlike JJAW - wasn't dependent on them in college for his production.

I would like to see the yac avg or yac yards he had for the year. Whenever i saw him was boundary side and got tackled and push out of bounds...he is tough, no doubt about that but breaking tackles without seeing yrd is telling me part of the picture

I still like him and would like him in philly either way
