Brehs FL is trash. Like no joke. It’s just trash. My insurance went from 3k to 10k in 1 year. My neighbor insurance company cancelled his because a tree was too tall. They just decided to cancel. No notice nothing. He shopped around until he found one that said they would cover it but the insurance deductible gonna be 15% or 15k meaning he better have 15k at least if his home gets damaged. If the damaged is less he gets nothing.

All this because of Fat ass Ron Deshamtis aka salami boy. fukk that POS

The kicker is they can cancel the policy at anytime though. That’s what happened last year. The policies got cancelled 2 hrs before the hurricane hit. Trash ass fukking state man
That's because the climate crisis will wreak havoc on florida within the next ten to fifteen years and insurances know that.

Homeownership ain't no joke all around.

Ain't for the weak-pocketed.:wow:
People never consider taxes, insurance, utilities and maintenance when considering how much mortgage they can afford. It used to be a lot easier to make that mistake 15 years ago. But good banks will make sure folk don’t get in over their head.

FL my 2nd home but the place is so damn backward. People vote against their best interests for some damn political party

Last I went there I-75 had a new confederate flag raised real high. How is it that some major FL cities have so much diversity but very few mom and pop shops? Corporation run that state and we know they fund well
I don’t think there’s a highway in the south without a gigantic confederate flag. I’ve seen one in VA, NC, SC and GA.

And this is independent of the gigantic American flags you see that nowadays are saying the damn thing.

I subscribe to that guy and he stay taking dumps on Florida:mjlol:

But yes, from what I've seen its getting bad for the lower/middle-class Homeowners in Florida. They do property tax assessments EVERY year and of course they've had some of the highest appreciation since 2020. 100% disabled veterans winning though because they pay no property taxes there.

And if you own a condo:wow: After that 2021 condo collapse HOA fees are going through the roof and I've seen dozens of posts where the board are requiring 10k+ special assessments from each owner for new reserves required by law. Not even going to get into the insurance because that's already been discussed by FL residents better than I can tell it.

Hidden costs comes with all home purchases.
You should have at least 5K on the side every year for the unexpected. Forget about the insurance and the usual stuff, things will break! They always do!

Charlie Crist and even Rick Scott refused to give in the flexible or at will home insurance policy. Desantis being a corporate whore and hungry for power and donations, his bytch ass let the insurance companies basically write their own laws that benefit them. Then here we are
Thx for the clarity. This seems like a high level corruption especially if enough homeowners experienced there home insurance cancel hours before a hurricane. This is some bullshyt but unfortunately our media sucks and will never ask direct questions to the folks In office that actually matters to us.
