If you look at DeSantis' policies from a high level... the combination of Insurance Companies leaving Florida along with Undocumented leaving Construction/Farming jobs, will affect the entire state of Florida. Florida already has begun to turn against DeSantis because of the Fuel Shortage this year.
However I think he made a Severe mistake on a State Level just this last week about saying Insurance Companies will come back after Hurricane Season. This could be a Mental Fatigue on DeSantis from having to deal with bad news during a Campaign, but Hurricane Season happens each year.
It's a part of Florida culture along with anyone who lives near the Gulf and Atlantic.
Why would a Company come back after Hurricane Season, you don't need to be Democrat or Republican to know that's not possible, as Insurance is as despised as Taxes; you need it by law, but you hate doing it.
If Florida got slammed by 2 Category 4 Hurricanes this year because of a very hot Atlantic ocean, I think DeSantis would almost go into hiding and lower level politicians would turn the blade on DeSantis to save their own asses. It's not like they like DeSantis anyways, they just like he is in position of power to help them.
