Nah, it's the other way around and it's not even because of Disney. The more media exposure, the more your personal flaws are exposed. It's clear DeSantis is socially inept now and that people in his own state are revealing his personal flaws. It's clear he has made a ton of personal enemies from people he once knew and trusted.

Disney/DeSantis don't hate each other in the same way you hate DeSantis. At some point they'lll make peace and Disney execs will go back to supporting guys like DeSantis. This was similar to the Dominion/Fox News thread when posters thought dominion was in it for the long haul, trying to strike a blow for Democracy against Murdoch then were disappointed when they quickly settled for $780M.

You care too much about the day to day fight. That's the distraction. Disney isn't fighting an ideological battle this is just about money and power. The donor shyt is about ego. Every donor wants their ass kissed. All of these issues will be hashed out, as they always are, behind closed doors. They will then move on.

Money won't be an object. There are two billionaires just in the Chicago area (Ken Griffin and Richard Euhlein) that would probably be willing to finance the entire race if necessary.

All that being said, I hope we are smart enough to continue to egg on this trump vs DeSantis battle. One piece of good news is that trump seems fully committed to fukking over the GOP if they don't nominate him.

Breh. The truth doesn't matter. The media exposed those representatives that lied about their entire existence and it didn't matter. The media exposed Boebert and Marjorie Green. The media just exposed Clarence Thomas (again). The media has exposed child abusers who are in blockbuster movies right now. The media exposed Epstein and he still was hanging around Bill Gates lol. The minute he has the nomination, all of these problems he has with donors, former colleagues etc, congressional members, senators etc....disappear.

You guys need to snap out of this old school mindset that the media is going to save us smh. If DeSantis is the nominee there's not going to be a Michael Dukakis moment when everything crashes down.

My issue is you’re attempting to attribute every bit of coverage desantis gets as proof of him being the republican front runner, while I believe a lot of it is just the normal coverage you get being the governor of one of the largest states and making provocative governing decisions.
