You know what's hilarious? This Disney shyt is a no-win situation for him. fukk his mental health, the guy is literally noun, verb, and woke. Outside of that there's nothing there. Dude just strikes me as a Baratheon type, feels power is his by birthright and thinks that because he runs his fiefdom with an iron fist he's the true and living king of the whole realm. Florida has a surplus of old conservative cacs, conservative COVID transplants, and conservative cac hispanics. Unfortunately for meatball, the rest of America is vastly different. Even looking at the 10 or so "battleground states" that actually decide our presidential elections, Then he's out here beefing with Disney, which unlike other global mega corporations actually has some goodwill with the public. People don't associate the mouse with corruption or criminality or even being "woke," they think parks, beloved movies, kid friendly programming, and their favorite characters. Meatball isn't fighting a woke corp, he's fighting an icon. That might put him on the spectrum, thinking he can fight the state's largest employer who has lawyers watching lawyers so they won't go broke.

I said it earlier but if trump ran a legitimately populist campaign, he would be a serious problem for DeSantis or Biden. Meaning going decidedly left on economic issues - strongly supporting unions, increased taxes (income/Medicare/capital gains taxes) on wealthy, health care reforms (esp drug prices), increasing regulations on Wall Street, strong anti monopoly policies etc.

He wouldn’t even have to moderate on other issues like immigration, crime, education and other “cultural” issues like abortion.

He would upend the election more than Perot and probably would have a good chance of winning a plurality assuming he still has a chance of getting on the ballot in most states.
