Sad story man.
Imagine gaining powers and finally time travelling to meet your hero idol only to find out that he and history both beef you like crazy because of all the things you havn't even done yet, you then naturally start to beef your idol back and proceed to become the villain history told you you would be.
Breh got futuristic plastic surgery to look like Barry. That story wasn't ending happily.

Edit: Return of Barry Allen might be the best RF story, I recommend it to any readers. Shout out to the real Wally West.

Caught up on the remainder of the season.

Nora's goodbye was emotional :mjcry:

Gracie Cicada had cool powers and knew how to fight, but entered the season late and her motivation was trash. Same for OG Cicada and most of what they did with him throughout the course of the season.

Reverse Flash's hand of doom has to be one of the best fatalities a villain has in comics. Every time it pops out :whoo:.

If Cisco is really dipping out, I don't blame him with tired of the fukkery :hubie:. Even without his powers, dude is a genius who can make millions with all of his inventions and can still help people in a different way.

Overall the show still suffers from the villain of the week characters being really weak, characters needing to learn the same lesson repeatedly, and a lot of group meetups of Team Flash spouting exposition about some time travel/science/problem solving jargon. Series could really use a shakeup in that regard.

Also doesn't hurt to show your characters being competent. I get that you need drama and problems for your characters to solve to fill a season of TV, but too often it comes across as unearned and needless fighting :francis:.

They also lack any ability to come up with practical plans to beat villains other than psuedo science nor do they develop as character in interesting ways. Lots of forced drama and they repeat season plotlines themselves. Essenyially a complete lack of creative writing, but all of the arrowverse shows suffer from it.

Black Lightning doesn't, although technically its not in the Arrowverse. Legends does a good job in mixing things up and embracing the fun of being a comic book show.

Legends tries to be Preacher/Doom Patrol level of fukkery but it aint there and yeah I didnt include black lightning because it aint arrowverse.

I’d be afraid to kill that dude. shyt would unlock his new form. They’d be standing there like “we did it.” And Thawne would roll up in the cut like Golden Frieza, talking about I needed a speed force punch to unlock my true final form.

You know what's crazy about this episode is that I don't think thawne is truly evil evil... I also believe he used the negative speed force so much he became unhinged....
I mean it was affecting Nora like crazy even though she was fighting it... Before thawne replicated the accident he probably was a good person in a way it's crazy... I mean DC does have heroes who fight among the emotional spectrum remember??? I do hope they finally kill thawne off tho in crisis :pachaha:
 don't you dare try to pull that shades of grey "we can all change" bullshyt

They should rename this show "Smart Dumb People" :hhh:. She really Thanos'd her self. Why didn't they just go get supergirl to come fukk up Cicada. :martin: And maybe it's time to start killing villains. :beli:
Flash is on the professor X morality shyt :heh:

Should've been gave RF the hand of god

Edit: The shyt I don't get is if they could reverse time why not do it to before Cicada 2 gets the material for the device?

I have said it before (probably in this thread) but all of the Arrowverse shows need to break out of this formula of having a "Team [INSERT LEAD HERO OF SHOW HERE]" situation. That is one of the biggest flaws of the entire set of shows and where the writers tend to really get exposed in how lazy and underwhelming they are.

For Flash in particular it is stupid to have Team Flash on the show anymore.

Star Labs needs to be sold to someone, Cisco needs to move to who gives the fukk, toss Killer Frost over to the Legends, have Ralph pop up maybe once or twice a season as a guest star (which is what Elongated Man used to do in the Flash comics, him and his wife would show up for a couple issue arc to solve a case with Bary and then they would bounce), make Iris a real reporter again in the vein of Lois Lane, put the focus of Barry's work life on CCPD with him and Joe.

Essentially make the show about Barry Allen the Flash and his supporting cast of Iris, Joe and maybe one or two regular people not superheroes or super-scientists. then focus on showing that Barry is a legit capable super-hero who doesn't need a team of thousands to defeat the bad guy.
