Being poor is the most important. Not sure why black women think getting married is going to solve all of our problems.

Because even poor people in 2 parent households do far better than than poor single parent children. No marriage won't cure all ills but it builds a good foundation.

Right. That's why the focus should be on public policy solutions, not personal or familial ones. Black people promote this idea that "family structure" is the root of our problems because they think it's an easy fix.
Actually, it is the harder to fix because it is too close to home. Telling black people that their dysfunctional relationships need to be addressed in a major way makes people defensive. Like telling women that having kids that they cant feed keeps them in poverty. Black comnunity is a fractured community.

Our problem has always been education. Lack of it is how it is easy to continue with the divide of the haves and have nots. Lack of education begets ignorance. Even worse is what seems to be from time to time, a willful ignorance. The ghetto is not a place where your physical being rests, your mind is there as well as its a mentality.

Another thing, seemingly from what I've seen is lack of work ethic, moreso on men than women. I've taught collegiately for four years. In every single class, my top performer was a woman. Women usually outnumber men 3:1. I work in healthcare finance. I'm one of a few men here and one of three black men. The ratio to that is like 6:1, women to men. Men are getting left behind.

I agree, somewhat. I'd say lack of money + lack of education are black people's biggest challenges. There's research showing that poverty, in and of itself, has a negative effect on cognition.

I disagree that men are being left behind tho. Lousy work ethnic or not, black men collectively have higher incomes than black women. Blacks who earn degrees in Engineering and Math are overwhelmingly men, even though a much higher percentage of black women attend college.

Insecure black women and white supremacists like to promote this shyt about black women "outpacing" their men. It's one way in which they attempt to emasculate us.

I wasn't speaking to black women to black men, I'm just talking about the sexes as a whole.

Any criticism made about BM and it's black female insecurity but y'all want To go on about black single mothers being the detriment of the black community.

And seriously...dont even fukking turn this into a gender issue...America spent centuries trying to manipulate the economic downfall of blacks to become a servant class/underclass. I cant even blame black folks for any of this. EVER. We just live in a fukking evil ass country.

All i can do is just work my ass off gain my money and leave. This is the type of thing that just forces me to work ten times harder.
