From all of the terrible things I see in my line of work I question can there be a God who allows so much suffering. I also ask myself often why some people we encounter survive devastating shootings, stabbings, car accidents etc and others perish

Keep a fire extinguisher on each floor, smoke detectors, CO monitors, have an escape plan and go over it with your family.
