In a move to create salary cap space, the Toronto Raptors have reached an agreement to sendSteve Novak to the Utah Jazz, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Along with Novak and the two years and $7.2 million left on his contract, the Raptors will send a future second-round draft pick to Utah, sources said. The deal can't be completed until the league's moratorium ends on Thursday.

The Jazz will send the Raptors guard Diante Garrett, who, with a $915,000 non-guaranteed deal for this season, will be waived, sources said.

Ya, I am not really to hyped to see Vince back. I just threw it out there..

Id rather a better team than a feel good Vince comeback...If he comes back on a team friendly deal on our terms then ok...If he wants too much let Portland or Dallas overpay...

Now we don't have to worry bout Casey playing Novak when he's obviously trash and can't do anything on this team and in this system. Novak will ONLY work on a team with a great post presence on both sides of the ball.

Me too. Plus Masai was on the Strombo show this year, talking about how leiweke met with Vince(with Cubans permission) when the Mavs came to TO.

yeah they wouldn't run that documentary if they didn't already know vince was coming back. it was just pr and ploy to get raptors fans to forgive carter.

I don't think that's a bad thing...to have the same squad back. We got a good core. We only need a true #1 option. If Derozan can grow some balls and play like he did in the 4th quarter of game 2 against the Nets all the time then we will have a guy good enough to carry the offence. But I just don't think he's good enough to keep it up for a season. So we gotta somehow land a true #1 option.
