He is not a star and he had a good season in a contract year, overpaying for a player like him is exactly how teams end up back at square 1.

The Raptors are now considering offering him a 5th year which is straight status.

I can honestly see Lowry resorting to his fat and out-of-shape version the minute he signs this contract. Hard to trust someone who has their best/breakout season in their contract year. Also tired of people levering with other teams to get that big pay day from us. Who's to say he won't just demand a trade a year or two in anyway. Hope I'm wrong though, and he ends up signing and playing the way he did this past season.

Either way I'm ready to consider other options. Vasquez, lead the way playboi

Things should get rolling with them now that Lowry is locked up. Should be interesting to see if we will be able to keep both.
