Its over for that character. Let it go. He’s the soft shoe c00n of modern day movie history

I felt the pain from this post :wow:

that puts feelgood narratives before quality story lines/developed characters

That is my issue as well. Checking off boxes makes a terrible shoehorned storyline.

You would need Black writers and/or Black directors (non-c00nish if you will) if you want us to be shown correctly.

I couldn't stand watching the first one, Finn was such a damn fool I couldn't take it.

Tariq said it right, "30 years a space slave" :wow:

The last Jedi, the first thing this mfer says when he wakes up is " WHERE IS REY?! :damn:"

Like, yo man :wow::snoop:

They hoed that nikka out. I might as well watched a slave movie in space. Ever since George Lucas left, these new cacs rewrote that the force don't even acknowledge nikkas. He should've been Mace Windu's prodigy child but na he's a fukking space janitor. Even the new comics acknowledged that he is a jedi that had his mind wiped.

They should've had Finn and Rey as Jedi it was clearly set up in Force Awakens that Finn was force sensitive I remember seeing concept art where both of them were supposed to be Jedi. But nope they gave him the reluctant hero arc but gave the rewarding part to Rey to prop her up and made him look like a bytch. :yeshrug:

I think the reluctant hero angle could have worked if they made it clear how much of a badass storm trooper he was. Like he was partners in crime with Kylo, but decided to go a different route. Make it seem like he was a legit threat to Kylo, then have him lose/Rey save the day. That way it would have been a bigger surprise.

But yea they could have let him have the force in the first movie

Any idiot could have written the movie to make BOTH Finn and Rey look good. Finn, like you said could have been the reluctant hero and his trilogy’s “big bad” could have been the Knights If Ren while Rey could have been daughter of Leia/sister of Kylo and he could have been HER “big bad”. It would have made splitting them up in Last Jedi make wayyyy more sense and given Finn a legitimate arc. That way Finn could have represented the “future” of force users while Rey could have been an “anchor” to the past. This shyt writes itself.

Finn learns a “new way” of utilizing the force while Rey learns from the “old guard”.

They INTENTIONALLY wrote Finn to be a failure. Thats the true tragedy and insult of the character. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. Finn is the ONLY and i mean the ONLY character within the movies to wield a lightsaber in combat and NOT BE FORCE SENSITIVE. And your telling me it just so HAPPENS that this character is the BLACK ONE!!?!

Nah Star Wars can suck my dikk:camby:
