Also what genre of music do you specialize in? (please don't tell me you're restricted to just hip hop)
As an artist my music is hip hop and those are the beats I produce personally.
As far as recording and mixing I've dealt with almost every genre and certainly have written lyrics for songs across most genres.
I work with a team of people most of which are trained musicians so I don't get too hung up on what beats I can make for who. If a project needs music outside of hip hop I have people that I work with to get the beat sent over.
Right now my focus is continuing to develop my mixing skill which is what I plan on transitioning to completely once I feel like I'm done being an recording artist. (I don't see myself rapping at 50 but I do see myself involved in music for the rest of my life).
I'm not "restricted just to hip hop" but even if I was I wouldn't see that as a bad thing. I love hip hop and the culture.
