Nice. My brother kind of got a half studio in his room but shyt is mad disorganized. He got a lil mic room just like that with these padded things on the wall. I don't rap so I don't much about them.

That is so dope bro I'm happy for you I plan to do the same but I do not have a house right now but I at least want to set up my computer for the capabilities to record I just have not had time yet
It's all baby steps. You can go a long way with a relexion filter, a decent mic, a decent preamp and a decent computer. I recorded for years without any real acoustic treatment. What I learned is the most important thing about recording is your working environment. Don't get to caught up in high price Gear. If you want to build cheap bass traps let me know and I can walk you through it. I made all of those panels you see on the wall for roughly $15 a piece. I've seen the same ones sold online for $75 - $100 a piece. I've actually considered making them and flipping them on eBay. I think there is a good market for them online and they're easy to build.

Dope. Very dope. My pops always had a studio geared toward DJ'ing growing up, and it made me always want to build some shyt once I got my own house. Now seeing this makes me wanna do it even more, and get back into recording again even tho my bro had to move outta state and stopped being my engineer:mjcry:

2016 breh. Dropbox, google drive, trello, there's a bunch of services that make working on music long distance possible. You can easily record something locally and have someone from anywhere else in the world mix and master the track.
