Either way, I'm of the belief that this is also coming out on PS4 hence the visuals.

I don't see why not because the larger audience for this game exist outside Japan now. The console market in Japan just hasn't kept up. That's why Falcom gets the side eye from me over how western fans still get treated second class over the shrinking Japanese base.

This feels so different from most previous Final Fantasy games. It feels more like a mash up of FFXIII and Devil May Cry

it was the same way with Final Fantasy VII remake, the final game looked better than the reveal trailer
