Man, as someone who played Final Fantasy going back to 1991 and FFXIV recently, when Clive finds out the truth and the limit break gauge bar starts filling up, the emotions really hit me.
My wife told me that her friend was the biggest Transformers fan when she was younger and when she saw Optimus Prime for the first time in the movies along with that soundtrack her friend legit started tearing up.
I just experienced that. I love this series.

Honestly, I prefer the calmer parts in the game to the wild "spectacle" Eiken events; the game has some great areas in it that is fun to move around in. It's just a shame they isn't much to do outside of hunts and uneven side quests - the sense of exploration is horribly lacking.
This beara Clive low key decent as a main character.

He is very good, particularly as a FF MC. Most of then are ass, and this has a very good supporting cast.

Thats not saying much, he’s not just brooding and grunting for half the game.
I also like how he’s just flat out like “yeah, im gonna go kill them” no sugar coating like they gotta do in other FF games
