Nah don't do everything. I say just the opposite. Do as little as possible. Make sure you're level 35 or so and blast through the campaign. If you still like it, load your last save and do the end game content. Part of what pissed me off was trying to do everything the first play through to see that it essentially doesn't matter.

Yeah a better phrasing would be

"Do everything you find fun"

Like, I would've done all the hunts...Made sure I did the two dungeons I didn't do, and try chocobo racing before beating the game...I DEFINITELY would NOT have chased down gems for that hipster douchebag jeweler who sent me on wild goose chase. And fukk that cat, and fukk hunting for got damn ingredients for merchants

Just beat Adamantoise. Longest single fight I've ever had in any video game and for nothing. I ton of xp that I don't really need because there isn't anything in this game that will be a real threat. Can't say it was fun either. Adamantoise is a massive HP sponge with 2 or 3 moves that it goes through in a pattern. You'll need plenty of elixers and Phoenix downs though. It has a few moves that knock you down in one hit.

It was made for the first timers and in that respect they did a really good job. This is the easiest entry in the series. The story is terrible in that every major scene happens off camera and information is thrown at you in pieces and at the most random times. The second half of the game is one of the most pointless and boring sections of a game I've ever been cursed to play.

The camera does suck, but the only real way to fight it is to attack its right foot, so for the most part the camera isn't as big of a deal as it is in some other fights.
It really is the most tedious boss battle I've ever done. I got a trophy for it though.
@Prodigal Syndicate would be proud and @Mowgli would pretend it doesn't matter since I didn't stream it.

Glad that the game is selling well. Love the game despite its flaws. It will probably end up being the 3rd best selling Final Fantasy.

those patches(story, chapter 13, pro, etc) are probably months away. you'd be better off just finishing the game and not even thinking about it.
