The reason a normal playthrough is so short in XV is the story is very much condensed. from chapter 9 to 14 except 13 the chapters are probably 30 mins to an hour each if that.

It took me 35 hours to beat ff7.. it took me 35 hours to best ffxv... I now have 73 hours logged in.. Too bad you lil shyt heads didn't enjoy the game. Trade it in... Get the fukk out of this thread...

Everything isn't two extremes man. This game deserves the criticism it's getting but it's still an ok game. While I regret buying the $280 edition and the normal day one edition both when I should have just got the normal it's still a decent game.

How can you love ff13 and have a problem with this. Honestly i dont think think you took the time to accept this for what it is. This gameplay, overshadows all problems. And thats without super over the top moves. I dont know what the end game looks like ibut i think this game needs one last tier of super magic and super moves to really finalize its status gameplay wise, and without it this gameplay is still elite. I think they did a good job on the game. The quests take you to mostly unique enemies and give you a chance to fight in pure chaos while putting all your skills together to a crowd of deadly enemies punihed at once. its really on another level gameplay wise. People not recognizin, because Witcher.

How can you say this gameplay is amazing. you literally just indiscriminately press attack and use potions when necessary.
