Cubans everywhere in the US are celebrating, an old Cuban man that used to live in Cuba before escaping just told me he wished he died decades ago. Castro's celebrity status and likeability was given to him by non Cubans and people who never actually lived in Cuba under his regime. Actual Cubans don't favor him the way non Cubans do.
