Real shyt. I got a friend from Cuba and I took 4 classes at UFC where the professor was from there too and I studied at lot of history of the region. Dude threw a guy in jail for 5 years for talking about how Fidel didn't know about being a doctor and killed a lot of people. Ultimately the impression I got from studying their history was that his intentions initially were good, but that he seemed to lose his way and my professors words were that he kept alternating between idealism and pragmatism as to how to run the country and that they really never recovered from the harvest of ten million tons (my friends dad grew up during this and could attest to how much of a disaster it was) and the collapse of the soviet bloc. I'm curious to see how history will remember someone who was famously quoted as saying "history will absolve me".Breh I grew up in dade so I've heard the horrible shyt he's done. Before i went to PA school I worked at a jail for people with psych issues and this one Cuban dude that was locked up there put me on to all the dirty shyt he did to the population.
