Absolutely no chemistry at all. The whole cast honestly. Her boyfriend got clapped and she didn’t give a damn. The black brother’s girlfriend got her head turned into ground meat and it was ho hum. The main protagonist lost 2 of her best friends and didn’t give a single fukk. Those characters were all just props for murder porn imo

Part 3 was a decent enough conclusion but part 2 1978 was the clear standout movie of this trilogy.

Just seen Part 1 last night.

I thought it sucked but was good at the same time.

Now that I know it's a kids book series I'll say it's a cool little movie.

After reading all the praise this movie got from critics, I finally watched the first two movies with my girl.

My wife enjoyed them but I thought they were complete trash. They we’re clearly made for the pre teen crowd so maybe it wasn’t my demographic but I love horror movies in general and am pretty easy on them critically. Some of these character motivations were bad. Your best friends just got killed but your cuddling up eating pizza and listening to a mixtape after without a care in the world? That girls boyfriend just got brutally killed and no mention of him whatsoever after? There was nobody on the streets it seemed like and no parents. All the main characters annoyed the f out of me, especially the lead who was insufferable. All the 90s songs that constantly came up got annoying. I honestly don’t see how these movies got great reviews and I love horror movies of all kinds. The second one was a bit better but I still thought it was bad. Very rarely do I go below a 5 for a movie score but

fear street 1994 - 3/10 - 3 for the one good kill scene
