He's anti recast T'Challa and said the hashtag was anti black woman. All without doing any research, just his assumptions based on the recast crowd being mostly black male.

He back tracked and had E-man on his show but damage was already done.

I don't know anything else about him and don't care to learn. It was a horrible first impression.
He's extremely anti black men unless their gay.

He cant miss :wow:

On the real this was one of his better videos. I'm a go along to get along type of breh but he was right on about how as hurtful and slanderous the c00n label can be, its often used to identify what is absolutely anti black behavior.

The one thing ill push back on FD about is that us a people have a lot of scorn for c00ns because its implied that c00ns know what theyre doing is fukked up or there is explicit alliance to non black parties (such as Conservatives). And cool i get that but why are rappers never really the target of the c00n tag? Like on some level, you dont think Future or Doe Boy or 42 Dugg or whoever dont know what theyre doing and how theyre proliferating poison to the kids?

I think Leftists like FD dont call out rappers because they are 1. scared of being slapped up by these street rappers and 2. hold on to this standard of "white supremacy is to BLAME FOR EVERYTHING" that they dismiss the agency of the street elements of our culture and basically give them a pass for all the fukkery, like theyre children who arent responsible for their actions.

Ya’ll overthink crime and criminality is ya’ll blindspot

I swear you quote everyone of my posts just to say "you overthinking it", i dunno bruh maybe youre not thinking about it enough :patrice:

I’m speaking from the perspective of someone who committed crimes when he was younger and a rapper ain’t have shyt to do with it

Sure for most kids circumstances lure you to crime more than anything. The issue is in addition to systemic racial barriers, black folks subscribe to a culture that promotes fast money and living outside of the structure and that is reinforced by rappers who cosplay a exaggerated form of that lifestyle. And even if a rapper isnt a street nikka who happens to rap, they endorse and cosign the shyt for street cred brownie points.

Its so bad that we have a lot of middle class kids who get involved in street shyt even though they had vast resources and support to do anything they wanted.

Once again, tons of systemic barriers but street and dysfunctional hood life lures black youth like moths to a flame.

But he does criticize rappers. He's talked about boosie, drake, yk Osiris, and eminem for all sorts of things

He only talks about Boosie because of his stance on LGBTs and he speaks on Drake because Drake is the personification of "im a romantic who actually hates women". IDK what his criticisms of Eminem or YK Osiris are but I doubt they have anything to do with promotion of street culture.

And blaming rappers won’t do shyt

There’s a reason why, as with video games, they never bring up entertainment during court cases

YouTube demonized it because he keeps saying "c00n". He'll probably take this video down and cut it up again, if the whites mass report again.

He mostly talks about Bamboozled.

I'm one of his biggest critics.
This is one of his better videos.

There might be a subliminal at The Coli and our adjacents.

Back to the video

He's talking about Kanye and Candace Owen's n'nem. And low key talking about I guess anyone that makes us look bad, without really naming names.

Does that include Sexxy Red and Nicki Minaj? All the drill rappers? Black women with weaves, perms, extensions, and other things borrowed from europeans? Black men in suits? etc.

He just never keeps the same energy for folks committing these things he's against. It's why he comes off as disingenous.

I think part of the irony here is that he still can't deal with the idea of Black People that are conservative.
  • Don't like Gays
  • Don't like Interracial dating.
  • Don't like hand outs.
  • Don't like "illegals"
  • Drive big trucks and SUV's and don't give a damn about the environment
  • Join the military
  • Go hunting and fishing, and shoot guns.
  • Think of ATL as a big city
  • Think these boys need to pull they pants up
  • Wonder what the girl was wearing before she got raped
  • Type of folks to Put a root on you
  • Feel some type of way about light skin black folks, biracials, "mulattos", multi-racials
  • Look funny at Caribbeans and Africans.
  • Don't like Commies and Socialists
  • Go to Church
  • Eat chitlins is typical and turn their nose up at Sushi
AND

VOTE DEMOCRAT every damn time.

These people aren't MAGAs. They're not the Freedom Caucus. They weren't with Newt back in the day. If they ever voted Republican, it was at the height of the cold war, when everyone voted for hi

He's got this weird cartoonish view of Black People and Black Conservatives - like Candace Owens, Larry Elder, and Thomas SOW-ell are in any large numbers, when they're just abberrations.

And that plays into how he watches this movie.

He thinks he's one of the Black Race Guardians, thus allowing him to use c00n to police Black people he doesn't like.

I guess that's typical police, because he's turning a blind eye to all the other social problems black people have.

If Candace and Kanye, Bobby Schmurda certainly was.

Nas, Jay, Mobb Deep and Wu Tang aren't "problematic"?

And with the film, Savion Glover was not tap dancing in the hood for hood dollars. He was on Broadway, shucking and jivin for the richest of rich whites. Savion wasn't discovered in this movie, far from it. (Of course FD doesn't want to talk about that)

So coming back to whether FD is shucking and jiving for Bread Tube/Bo Burnham fans, I don't think so.

Is he feeding his Black family off of mostly white dollars?

Damn right he is.

If he wants to talk about Black people eating off of Black Dollars...that's a different discussion.

There's this uncomfortable reality that a lot of black intellectuals, academics, and artists have to confront.

The Black Mass was watching Katt Williams on Shannon Sharpe.
They didn't support The Color Purple
They won't be watching American Fiction.

So where does that leave him?

You cant see the forest for the trees. Its not just about "blaming the rappers" its pointing out the fact that rap is nothing but ducktales and/or the culture surrounding rap is broken, dysfunctional, and has a higher chance of leading to someone being dead or incarcerated for the rest of their life vs. living a baller lifestyle surrounded by bytches. Its about forcing the conversation about what we value as a community and how what we are entertained by has incrementally become the model our kids model themselves around.

I listened to the majority of this video last night. Have about 10 mins left. But he was cooking with this one. And I don’t say that about all of his essays as sometimes I think he can be rambly and not that engaging.

Not surprised the coli mad though:lolbron:

“Forcing the conversation”

And just like that you’re not a serious person
