LOL there's no reason to try and fight it... NYC and South Florida culture have always been like this. The Boricuas in NYC say the word freely and the Chico's in Florida do as well. And be around black folk all day. If it bothers you, and you walked around NYC or Miami, you'd be constantly getting upset cause the word flies like crazy out of the mouths of even white-looking Latinos. And no one bats an eye. Nothing you can do to change it.. and if you don't like it, just be glad it doesn't fly wherever you're from or live.
I even remember Pitbull, who is obviously a white Cuban, was saying nikka on all his early stuff and his first album. But if you notice, he stopped saying it after a certain point and it is NEVER on any of his later material. Either someone outside of FL/NY checked him, or since he traveled the world and became 'Mr. Worldwide', he realized other places just wouldn't understand and he deaded it. Same thing with Termanology....white looking as fukk... listen to his earlier records... plenty of nikka this nikka that. And he even admits he is only half PR, and half French. But at some point dude stopped using the word. Always found it interesting...
