Not to derail the thread but I need you or the breh @Jesus is my protector to let me know what is the difference between Haitian creole and Antillean creole cuz I went to see my spiritual advisor and he told me I have a Haitian in my bloodline and I was like but then I remebered I do have a great grandma from Martinique, is it a different language or what???

I’m more familiar with Guadeloupe, Dominica and St Lucian creole because I’m from Brooklyn and also have family in Guadeloupe.

Dominica and St Lucian creole is mixed with obvious English.

Guadeloupe creole from my ears sounds much faster than Haitian Creole.

Don’t know anything about Martinique and the French side of St Marten felt every Americanized to me when I drove through it.
