Nah fam..theres plenty of great games that didnt score too high...take Silent Hill on PS1 for instance...shyt did OK ratings wise I remember like it was yesterday..but its a classic in every sense of the word...problem is even then...games that scored lower than 8.5 werent looked at as a problem...people still bought and enjoyed the games and they are what made the demand for franchises n shyt...ratings werent end all be all unless they were completely terrible...
No one likes the authority I give metacritic, but outside a few games it's pretty accurate. I mean look at that PS3 list. It's pretty accurate.

I clearly don't use it to base my purchases on, but it does provide a good barometer. I mean I have nearly 500 steam games and there is no way in hell all those got 85s or higher. shyt I recently bought borderlands the pre sequel and ass creed unity, and both those games scored in the 70s.

An aggregate of Reviews is pretty accurate, outside a few instances of course. Yes sometimes they get it wrong, but that's what you have user reviews for.

I'll continue to stand by my metacritic stance; it's a great barometer of the quality of game. I buy a shytload of games, so it's not stopping me there. It's just helping me buy a little less. I like meta analyses in science and I like metacritic for the exact same reasons. :yeshrug:

Don't read brehs.....

Where's that Larry version..... :mjpls:
I was watching a guy play the XB1 version on twitch for about 2hrs last night, it looked fine :umad:
I can tell you all about it. Badgers are crazy plentiful, and nikkaz had to empty 100clips to survive them
Armed people, not so tough

Lots of just driving or walking around the environment.. The twitch stream was fun as hell tho cuz I was wildin out in there
And there was som cool heads that was about that fukkery life
Overall, most ppl said it looked very similar to FC3.. was calling it FC3.5
But a twitch stream via XB1 is shytty quality. I'll cop eventually, heard the PS4 version has to contend with PSN

Lets act like everything will run smooth there :tu:

I mean im not knockin u...I found myself falling into the rating trap a lil while back and I started seeing alotta bias shyt going on and I started taking them with a grain of salt...figuring certain things in the equation..and make my purchases based on what I like in a game...shyt like Alien Isolation...that IGN review was HORRIBLE...and off base as fukk in my opinion..

well that's why I like metacritic. It's not just one review. It's an aggregate of reviews. When 30 people are saying the same thing, it holds weight in my opinion. I would never base my opinion of a game off one review.

Another mid 80s game? :why:

Bayonetta is gonna be game of the year if we go by ratings. :wtf:

Dragon Age will probably win out though, given that it's not a wii u game.

All these highly anticipated games are getting 80s due to a lack of a good story plot. Honestly I don't pay attention to the story plot in games at all anymore. I finally beat Assassin's Creed Black Flag last week, and I can't tell you wtf that game was about. I'd say out of all the games I've played these last few years, The Last of Us is the only game that had a story that I semi-paid attention to, and even then I get confused about what happened at the end.

So basically the story sucks again. :manny: Its cool because the gameplay is all that matters

Dude on the cover is barely even in the game. I'm hearing he has about 10 minutes of screen time total. Sucks seemed like such an interesting character.

Didnt Vaas get killed of in like a hour? :skip:
I mean why not just put the main character on the cover? Why advertise a character that's barely even in the game as if they're a major character when they're barely around?
