Far Cry 4: November 18th (PS4, Xbox One, PC, 360, PS3)

Preordered this on PS4 last night digitally to play with my buddy...looks fun and I never played Far Cry 3.

I watched a live stream for about 2hrs of Far Cry, and twitch has tons of GTA streams right now up.

I like the "idea" of Far Cry and ppl say its great, so was pt.3.
From what I saw, it didn't look all that great. But, its a sandbox, and I guess you have to put yourself into the mode of "you in a sandbox"
I was looking at it from a linear standpoint, and the game wasn't leading the guy anywhere special from what I saw.
Once again, everyones experinece will be different depending on there play style.

GTA5 looked similar to last gen, but twitch streams via xbox are usually dodo quality. First Person mode looked awesome in the trailer
So for me, it reallty depends on if there are first person modes in the game online. And does it work?
Cuz that is a new game in itself if it is. And might be worth the price by itself

fukk it, I'll probably get both games. Only question is what to get first? GTA will be the more popular title, online will be poppin

FC3 was my 1st real FC experience, and man sofar this is looking like the same thing over again. I got gamefly sending it to me so I can't end up being to upset if it feels like a rehash.

This shyt is fire so far real talk. So far very similar to FC3 but that's not a bad thing at all. This is one of the best series period and FC3 was my 1st time ever playing. There is a lot of new type of shyt but its just like its predecessor.

Played a little yest. Pretty much FC 3.5 so far. Same crafting system, irrelevant currency since money chest are everywhere and weapons become free when you activate towers, and overall gameplay. Haven't really seen any new elements. But the atmosphere is gorgeous. And the main villain is hilarious as a metrosexual, psychopathic dictator

Far Cry 4's director has announced anyone complaining the PC version of the game doesn't contain field of view (FOV) options are in fact revealing they pirated the game.

Taking to Twitter, Alex Hutchinson explained that as legitimate copies of the game will connect to the internet and receive the feature via Day One patch, those complaining that no such feature is present are outing themselves as having illegal copies.

"PC players!" he begins, "If you're online complaining about the lack of FOV control ... You pirated the game."

Complaints about the issue are rife, from Reddit to Twitter, though such high numbers probably don't surprise the company too much. Way back in August 2012, the company's CEO Yves Guillemot claimed between 93 and 95 percent of PC gamers pirate some their games (though Ubisoft later clarified that this applied only to certain popular franchises in some territories).

Despite a rocky launch, Far Cry 4 has stabilised enough for us to finish our review of the ambitious title, so be sure to check out our verdict.

The pc version is a mess right now. It should be pirated. We can't even use high or ultra textures (which would be the console equivalent). It's another fukked up ubi release at them. I paid $60 to beta test one of their games again
