That's not true, you read the thread titleDidn’t read
Then the information/revelation leads to stage 1 = denial

Just so we're clear, you want to discuss sales projections instead of specs and games. Is this a defense mechanism?im willing to do a ban bet on which console sells the most worldwide the first year
I said that much in the OP, but when it's clear what the future of gaming holds, and your projections become incorrect then what? If any of you fine gentlemen want to discuss this threads topic please do. Drawing all attention to the fact Sony has a loyal fanbase doesn't equal a quality product. You guys clearly don't want to talk about why your product will be inferior, like cacs not wanting to talk about racism. We see youwe gonna bump this thread one year after the ps5 has been out.
ps5 will sell. it will do numbers.
Well, what do you mean that the Ps5 will fail miserably? in terms of sales or games?Just so we're clear, you want to discuss sales projections instead of specs and games. Is this a defense mechanism?

You talking about cloud gaming which sucks for multiplayer games. it lags.Just so we're clear, you want to discuss sales projections instead of specs and games. Is this a defense mechanism?

All hail the CLOUD!!!!!!!
Once it's determined what each system can do, sales will decline for one. And that decline will be sharp. If the system's are equal then Sony wins. But what's a loss for Sony? They lost during the 360 era but some people would rather say "they both won that gen "Well, what do you mean that the Ps5 will fail miserably? in terms of sales or games?
Bruh you're talking about cloud streaming and Google stadia does 4k right now (didn't a few weeks ago) xcloud currently maxes at 1080p and Sony PSnow maxes at 720p. None of that has a thing to do with cloud computing but in a nutshell. Take all the info you paid attention to about the Sony ssd and apply that to cloud computing. Sony doesn't have the type of cloud that can handle what we're talking about but Microsoft does, and has gone into great detail about how it works and how it's up to developers to make use of it. Just like how Sony is talking up their solution. Both solutions will benefit game development, one is cloud powered while the other is powered by a mid tier PC equivalent. Sony will once again hold back development. Word to call of duty and tekken 7You talking about cloud gaming which sucks for multiplayer games. it lags.
cloud gaming is only good for single player games and i read something that it is capped 720p or something. theres no 4k cloud gaming.
Lies, only reason anyone is hyped for a new generation is because of the power of the new console. And if one is more powerful than the next then that's a problem. Especially in this social fanboy era where games are not even the deciding factorI hate y’all sometimes.
It all comes down to price, marketing, and public perception.
Power has never been the sole reason for winning a generation, and it never will be.

You sir are letting it be known you don't know a thing about the cloud or how it pertains to the future of gaming. And while I've screamed from the heavens what is going on I've been ridiculed. Sir, all Sony did was this thing called gaikai and that powers PSnow and to answer your question the answer is fukk no...Sohh, you are saying that Microsoft has the hardware power to do cloud computing because they are Microsoft and a billionaire company like Sony can't do the same? Do you invest in stocks or something? What do you get out of it?
The next generation of gaming will remain the same as the previous but the only difference will be is SSD technology. Thats about it. Get over it. everything remains the same.. loyal fan stans on both ends will continue to support their choice of console gaming....
You literally said nothing here, and the xbox's supposed lack of power totally is why it wasn't as popular. It had the better games at launch and the system was and still is way more capable so...People are hyped for the power as it pertains to the games. Power on its own means nothing if the price isn’t right, bad marketing, and terrible public perception.
That’s literally what ruined the Xbox One.
