It won't be a year 1 flop, but it will get ugly as this gen progresses. The only thing keeping Sony afloat is its fanbase and the mental gymnastics of anything "exclusive"
The actual end results vary, and if you take away the titles you don't care for you're left with only a handful of titles. That's not enough moving forward. Moving forward, the cloud plays a huge role in videogame development. Sony isn't even a player in that arena. So how could a Sony gamer compete? Well, Sony decided to try to make a system that is so fast it can do similar things (in theory) that's great the ssd can hold information/etc.
My question to all you good people over at Sonyland is this... doesn't the cloud do everything that the ps5's SSD can do? And if so, then there is no advantage. In fact, I'm certain the cloud is way more capable than the alternative. If anyone needs any links to showcase in detail i got you covered
