You may not care enough to buy the console(hell you said yourself you just d block your nephew's ps4 when something comes out) but you care enough to waste time commenting about the game so much convincing people the game sucks or that it's overrated etc. I don't "care" about anything on Xbox enough to buy one right now but the one game that came out I wanted to play was SO I just borrowed one to beat it. Sometimes your stannery just prevents you from simply liking a good game. You suffer from that. Sad I see.

I think the only company that thrives of exclusives is Nintendo. Like thats the system you buy because you only are going to play a IP on that system and know its quality for the most part.

They still have the same mascot and then some as they did in the 80's.

This is blatantly false and dishonest.

Sony has Mascots.

Kratos, Drake, Joel/Ellie and now Aloy from HZD. Those characters elicit huge fan reactions and are usually system sellers.

The Sony customer service staff came at me with torches and a fury I have yet to see again.
I've seen old friends become new enemies.
All this over a video game breh.

It's an irrelevant fact. Some of the biggest IP's are multi-plat because it reaches a wide audience. There's more 3rd party IPs then there are publishers that have their own 1st party studios.
Sheer numbers would have multi-plats selling more on average but that doesn't mean exclusives aren't big. TLOU 2, God of War, that new Spider-Man, HZD, UC4 etc are all IPs that are exclusive and have sold very well or will sell very well.

Brehs need to come to terms w/ the fact that for the gaming consumer, there are two games being played...

1. The actual games.

2. The gloating game against nikkas not in your gaming ecosystem.

"Exclusives" are literally a game mechanic for the brehs who love the game of shyt talking about their system.

The fact that a breh can say, well it's on PC, without acknowledging that most people don't even care about their pc more than it being a pron device and to write word documents.

And shyt... I think it's cumbersome to even watch porn on a pc nowadays. If you told me that the next Gears of War or Battlefield is coming out for PC 6 months before my Xbox... guess what?

I'm waiting 6 months because I, like many gamers, don't give a fukk about their PC as a gaming device.

And ask these brehs if, considering they have PCs, whether they play MSft games like Gears, Cuphead and the whether they plan to play the upcoming State of Decay...they'll tell you they think those games look too boring to play. It's funny.

Let's break this whole circle of debate down to terms that most brehs can understand.

Depends on the games. Not all multiplats sell more. You're pitting like one/two games against like 10 BIG games. A lot of those games are franchises that's been huge since forever.

All the red are long running franchises that have new installments whereas bolded are exclusives. Sometimes new exclusives sell pretty big. Horizon sold 7.6 million so far and it's been a year. That's REALLY impressive for a new IP from a dev like Guerilla.
