Marion would be a nice addition. The depth would be amazing, I'm just tryin to figure out when all these players are gonna play We can pray Thibs takes a page out of Pop's book and really uses his bench, but this the same dude that had the entire starting lineup in to close preseason games last year so I'm not gonna count on that.

When we didn't pick up a Aaron afflalo type of scorer for the starters I wanted to go all defense to start games

Then from there rotate dougie snell and dunleavy for the spacing cause I see the potent defense as damn near our 2nd superstar

Not my ideal pick up but best available and better than nothing.

Marion shot 35% from 3 last season and I think jimmy will shoot better playing with rose (he better)

But we got a ton of options on the bench. If dunleavy isn't hitting shots he is useless on the floor with Marion at least we get the defense rebounding and another defender to throw at bron

All I keep thinking about is when dunleavy was on the floor vs Washington and his shot wasnt falling and how he got COOKED by ariza , and beal

I don't even think Marion needs that much tick, just gives us a hell of a option if we have to defend wall, beal and pierce, or lebron kyrie and waiters etc.

His lack of impact on offense will have a greater affect than his impact on defense...

We need more scoring with the starters

None of that I disagree with

But the options we need the bulls are not going to get, they not bout that life we know this

Snell and dougie too young to expect them to contribute in a game 5 of the ecf for example

If dunleavy not hitting shots he a liability on the floor

And with Marion on the team we have a option to go with a devastating defensive line up whereas without him we wouldn't have that option

Did you see ariza giving dunleavy that work in the playoffs? That's my problem

Of course we could do better but Marion best available and he not getting that many minutes but he mask us if dunleavy shot not falling that's all I'm saying

Taj/Mirotic/Bairstow
Noah/Gasol

Id rather them maybe start McDermott, and then give minutes to Marion or Dunleavy as the matchups see fit but we'll see

I agree if McDermott grasps the defense he is a lock to start imo. Mirotic will see minutes as well due to Noah recovering from offseason surgery and not trying to run Pau into the ground.
