Do you think Melo even takes the whole 5 years even if he signs back with NY. I think he opts out again if he's smart when the new tv contract comes in a few years. That's why I don't understand how much that 5th year really matters as long as dude doesn't have a major injury.

- rockets selling Carmelo if he signs there would have their own/best in the NBA big 3

- Lot of people in the league think its a 2 horse race Bulls knicks BUT houston feels they have a shot and have a compelling case

- Gasol could be a back up option for Bulls but there is a circumstance that they can put together Gasol and Carmelo If Carmelo told the knicks hes gone can force a S&T and Bulls get MLE offer that to Gasol Not out the realm of possibility that Bulls can pull it off

Yeah I gotta agree we need somebody like Jamal Crawford.
