The family lives in the perfect location ,Southern Cali for them to reap the benefits of this enterprise. But for those who live in colder climates in the Northeast and Mid West, its unlikely that they can depend on growing certain crops that don't take to year round unless the food is preserved. Overall, I'm a fan of vegetable gardening and hope to one day to grow my own fresh vegetables.

What's in your garden?
I heard a good place to start is in growing your own herbs. Supposedly they tend to keep longer than say...some vegetables.
