What's in your garden?
I heard a good place to start is in growing your own herbs. Supposedly they tend to keep longer than say...some vegetables.
I have an apple tree, watermelon, tomatoes, green beans, greens, and carrots. I haven't done herbs in a whil plan to get back on those this spring.

smh....anyway, i would put coffee grounds and eggshells into the soil of my garden.
if it comes from the Earf then it should go back to the Earf and then into my tummy.

DO OR DIE
i was lucky enough to have a backyard in Brooklyn.
the first thing me and my girl did in spring was plant a garden.

we had lettuce, spinach, peppers, potatoes, squash, strawberries and a whole bunch of herbs and spices.
our backyard was probably 25'x25' and we made the most of it.

I tried my hand at a fire escape garden and ended up only doing flowers. I considered the hike to the community garden and couldn't wrap my mind around making an errand out of watering my plants after work, school, etc.

smh....anyway, i would put coffee grounds and eggshells into the soil of my garden.
if it comes from the Earf then it should go back to the Earf and then into my tummy.

Do you let it cure first in like a bucket of soil or throw it right into the soil with your growing plants?

yea with the rising prices of fruits and veggies, black folks need to get back on their gardening grind. cant speak for yall but it seemed like our grandparents era were all growing their food. when i think back to when i was like 10 yrs old, i vividly remember all my neighbors having greens, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, etc growing in their back yard. it seems like those skills never translated to the younger generation.

I blame people being too focused on school and education over humanity. That is how everyone want you to think.

Plus we are a fast food generation. We rather party all night and smoke weed all day than to grow stuff with patience.
