I like those spots in ny with the gardens on the roofi was lucky enough to have a backyard in Brooklyn.
the first thing me and my girl did in spring was plant a garden.
we had lettuce, spinach, peppers, potatoes, squash, strawberries and a whole bunch of herbs and spices.
our backyard was probably 25'x25' and we made the most of it.
im not from ny but i have seen houses with yards in Queens for exampleGood luck New York nikkas
Yep, its bullshyt. They better keep doing what they're doing before the government makes that illegal too for whatever reason.
Isn't it illegal to collect rain water for your personal usage in some states?
And there may be tricky laws about where you can grow food on your property.
eating food that done grew where animals shyt at and things die at??
nah b i'm good on my supermarket grind
Its illegal if you're selling it.I'm pretty sure growing your own food is illegal.
The government only allows people to grow a certain amount of food. I'd bet 6K pounds exceeds that.
They could get arrested.
Edit, unless they are actual farmers.
I have no idea. I'd have to look into it more deeply. Admittedly, I came across a headline on FB once and remembered the blurbWhy would such laws exist in the first place?
How do you know that the supermarket produce weren't grown in unsanitary conditions?
At least you have some measure of control when you grow your own foods

Because demons are in bed with law makers. Imagine if everyone could sustain themselves with a community garden of some kind. Grocery stores would hurt and that revenue would take dollars out of the economy. Money is the root of all evil, friend. Why would such laws exist in the first place?

Thats to intense for me.Makes you wonder whether government is really the black man's friend.
