There's a rack you can hang it on in Sanctuary and the Gas station I believe, you can also build one whereever you set up shop

There's a rack under an awning by all the crafting tables that says craft power armor when you walk up to it, just get out of the armor under it and you can interchange new power armor parts.

Technically you can leave it anywhere though and you can see where it is on your map.

I walked up to it, but it won't hang up. I tried transfer, but it doesn't work. I just left it next to the power armor station. Hope nobody steals it
