Put a couple hours in. Only a few gripes don't understand why they didn't add Hardcore mode and weapon degradation. It makes no sense. Playing on survival, i'm taking my time and exploring everything. Found some crappy power armor. I haven't encountered a person yet.

Scrapping and picking up random junk is different, scrapping is when u in a friendly settlement like your old neighborhood and pressing select or I think the touch pad on ps4(hold the button) And u can scarp every wood, metal, broken down house, pretty much anything in the settlement location, u cant scarp anything outside of the settlement and u can create a settlement at any work station in the game

Yeah...I scrapped everything I could at the red rocket........it glows green when I look at it.

I swear I've seen absolutely nothing about building a settlement.

Yea there's an early Mission. Like 2nd or 3rd one.

So I got the perk, but still can't open locks.

Looks like I'd need to level up to do it. Don't want to cheat too much and ruin the game.

You have get the level 4 rank to be able to open all locks

I think it's 001d246a

So if you do "player.addperk 001d246a"

Yo will get lockpicking level 4. If you go look at your perk chart you will see it highlighted with 4 stars.

I did it for lockpicking and hacking and now i can open every lock and hack every terminal i come across...

You have to be VERY careful about doing it with perks that have stuff to do with guns or resistance or pretty much anything that is not hacking, weapon/building/armor modding, or lockpick...

For example last night i was playing around and tried to find the code for gun nut level 4

Returned back about 8 codes...

Only 4 levels so 4 of them were something else...

Put the one that was something else...fired my bolt rifle and a damn mini nuke came out hit a tree and my body just flew apart

I'm only doing it with lockpicking, hacking ,and carry weight, cause i hate travel just for the sake of traveling...

Set my carry weight to 10,000

There's a rack you can hang it on in Sanctuary and the Gas station I believe, you can also build one whereever you set up shop

I did the code and it now says that both my lock picking and hacking perks are fully unlocked, but when I try to unlock a master lock it says my skill isn't high enough
