Question, why are you speaking as though the alternative is an abusive slob.

There's nothing wrong with being single but the reality is people's body clock will start ticking. Few want to die on their own and without children in the world.

Your mentality is why many women bleed their husbands dry without remorse in divorce. Initiate divorce, but expect the lifestyle to remain the same. Earn on par with men in society but still expect to land a rich bread winner. It comes down to initiating change, but expecting others to compromise for your convenience.
