Peak/prime vs career argument at its best.

I'm done defending MJ.

MJ having Pippen shouldn’t be used against MJ, especially considering you can make the argument that Wade/AD>>>Pippen. Pippen might have fit the bulls system and fit Jordan as a running mate better than Wade, but 2011 Wade was still a top 5 NBA player and was already regarded as one of the greats all time at his position. AD is considered a top 3 Big man in today’s game and probably a top 5 player. I’d make the argument for LeBron just simply based on what he can do with any kinda team. He fills so many gaps, so his game is malleable to any franchise. He did it with Wade and Bosh in Miami. Then did it with a different kinda score-first combo guard in Kyrie and Love in Cleveland. Then he did it with AD and company in LA.
It's not really about using Pippen "against" Jordan, it's more about recognizing that Jordan had that level of teammate thanks to a competent front office and Bron shouldn't be knocked when he didn't.

Cats wanted him to rot in Cleveland a la KG, or ironically enough, are mad he didn't go to Chicago to take the challenge to fill Jordan's shoes. Give Bron a Pippen-level talent by age 24 and maybe he doesn't need to leave.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Y’all spend so much time tryna convince everyone of something you should be secure about....assuming you really even believe it.

Could really blow these threads up with insurmountable evidence that he hasn’t passed MJ in any way...but it really don’t be worth it.

But if your position is victor by accumulation , have at it :ehh:

Salute to Bron Bron for his 4th tho

People have been defending MJ for decades now. The goal posts are moved.

The 6 rings... Russell has 11
The scoring... Wilt made the NBA change the rules to prevent him from scoring so much.

People make it seem like MJ took all of the last second shots and won every playoff game by scoring all the points in the 4th quarter and making a shot with 0.2 seconds left blindfolded with 1 hand tide behind his back hopping on one leg while getting blow job from a cheerleader.

Rings and Scoring titles. That's all anyone brings up when it comes to Jordan.

He couldn't get past the Celtics or Pistons when they were great.
Every team he beat in the Finals never made it back except for the Jazz who were old at the time. HOF coach. HOF teammates during those runs.

People don't want to let the aura of MJ go. I grew up in his era so I get it. But Lebron has accomplished something no other player has and never will for a long ass time.

LeBron left his team three times. He would’ve never stayed with Pippen for 11 years. That’s what y’all keep missing.

He had to leave Cleveland because nobody wanted to go there.

Meh, I think so. Had the Warriors not formed in unbeatable team, he would have had more rings. Dont care what anyone says. I dont count those warriors lost. Team was too stacked.
Lebron been stacking the deck for an entire decade, warriors just outdid him. No superstar in league history has been able to shift from stacked team to stacked team like bron has

The man won 4 titles with 3 different teams as the undisputed best player.

That’s not easy to do....LeBron is top 5 at worst but I wouldn’t be mad at anyone saying he’s the goat
This is gonna get worn out fast cause this is definitely easier than doing it with the same team.
