Based on the singles it seems like this album is going to be very different then the rest of his catalog. I like all of them but I think the one with Boldy is my favorite.
After a full lesson through it’s definitely not like anything he’s done. Someone linked a little interview where he said that he went out of his way to make it sound like a brand new first album, or even a demo tape for a new chapter to his discography. He also said he expected it might end up being a love/hate album for some people.

This doesn't sound totally seamless, and it sounds rougher in places. He could've made another Weather album in his sleep, but this sounds like something that took more effort. But I also think that's kind of what he's aiming for. The positive is that he pulled off what he was gunning for.

I’m going to give it another listen before posting too many thoughts. It’s definitely a “want my old shyt? Buy my old albums” album…but at the same time it’s still Ev. Hard to describe it on one listen. It's definitely a quarantine album. It was all recorded during the pandemic, and it sounds that way.

I almost get Madvillainy or Piñata/Bandana vibes in terms of it being more eccentric.

Oh, and the Nottz track called Lost in Time is absolutely beautiful.
